FIFA presents the nominations for the Best FIFA™ Football Awards™ 2024, honoring the best in men’s and women’s football after another incredible season.
Onward FIFA.com Fans can have a say in the winners in several categories. In the categories “The Best – FIFA World Player”, “The Best – FIFA World Player”, “The Best – FIFA World Coach – Men”, “The Best – FIFA World Coach – Women” , “The best – FIFA World goalkeeper ” and “The best – FIFA world goalkeeper” counting the votes of fans, team captains, coaches and the media alike.
While the fans choose the winner of the FIFA Fan Award only, a group of FIFA football experts choose the winner of the FIFA Fair Play Award. The winners of the first FIFA Marta Award and FIFA Puskás Award are chosen equally by the fans and a panel of FIFA experts.
For the first time, fans can also take part in voting for The Best FIFA Men’s 11 and The Best FIFA Women’s 11. From a list of 77 players (22 each in defence, in the middle of the park and in attack and eleven in goal) you can put together your dream team for one of the tactical concepts available. The votes of the fans and the FIFA expert panel each count 50%.
The FIFA Puskás Award now goes to the scorer of the most beautiful goal in men’s football, regardless of competition and nationality. The winner of the world’s most beautiful goal in women’s football will receive the FIFA Marta Award, named after the Brazilian football legend, for the first time.
