DKLK Survey 2024: Labor shortage is growing – at the expense of children

The German Day Care Management Congress (DKLK) was held in Munich on November 27 and 28, 2024. Experts from practice, politics and science came together to discuss the future of day care centers in Bavaria. Before the event, day care center managers were asked about the current situation at Bavarian day care centers.

The German Kita Management Congress DKLK is a joint event with FLEET Education Events, the VBE Federal Association and the four VBE state associations – Bavarian Teachers Association (BLLV), VBE Baden-Württemberg, VBE North Rhine-Westphalia and VBE Hesse.

The DKLK 2024 study was carried out by FLEET EDUCATION Events in cooperation with the VBE Federal Association and the four state VBE associations, the Bavarian Teachers Association (BLLV), the VBE Baden-Württemberg, the VBE Hesse and the VBE North Rhine- Westphalia, under the scientific direction of Dr. Andy Schieler from Koblenz University of Applied Sciences made it happen. 3,055 daycare center managers participated in the survey.
