On Sunday, November 10th, 2024, the 3rd Open Wangen Club Championship for children and young people up to 15 years old took place. The Judo and Ju-Jutsu Association Friedrichshafen was represented by ten fighters. A total of around 60 judoka from surrounding clubs took part. In pools of four divided according to weight, the judoka had the opportunity to test the techniques they had learned in training under competition conditions.
Manuel Schneider-Gallas had the opening fight of the tournament. He was able to successfully finish all of his fights using holds and takes 1st place in his weight class. Emil Röhm also achieved first place. Emil won all of his fights early by throwing a hip or holding. At his first tournament, Dennis Turcan won the silver medal. Maximilian Wolfmaier can also be very satisfied with achieving the silver medal. Third places went to Florian Kreutzfeld, Vincent Frank, Clemens Frank, Fiete Eichmeier, Georg Grub and Yassin Ben Dallal.
