Through the transaction, Hurtigruten will reduce its total debt by more than 1 billion euros, and the remaining debt will be around 400 million euros. In addition, the borrowing levels on the remaining debt have been extended to 2030 at the earliest.
Norwegian flag
Hurtigruten will continue to be headquartered in Oslo and will operate its ten ships under the Norwegian flag. Hedda Felin and her management team will continue to lead the company.
From 1 December, the team will be further strengthened by Per-Hermod Rasmussen as new CFO.
The transaction is expected to be completed in January 2025.
