There, the minimum temperatures in the morning will be between minus 14° and minus 9°, and the maximum between minus 10° and minus 5°. In 5 regions of Northeast Bulgaria, low temperatures will be accompanied by strong wind. These are the districts of Targovishtka, Razgradska, Shumenska, Silistrenska and Dobrichka. There will also be negative daytime temperatures. The minimum temperatures in the morning will be between minus 14° and minus 9°, and the maximum between minus 10° and minus 5°. A strong northerly wind will blow at a speed of 15-20 m/s and gusts up to 24 m/s. There will be conditions for formation of prespi and windings.

A yellow code has been announced in 6 areas of Eastern and Southern Bulgaria due to strong wind. These are the districts of Varna, Burgas, Sliven, Yambol, Haskov and Kardjali. A strong northerly wind will blow there with a speed of 15-20 m/s and gusts up to 24 m/s. There will be conditions for formation of prespi and windings.

The weather over the country will be cold, in the eastern half and quite windy, which will create a feeling of even colder weather and the formation of winds and drafts. It will be cloudy and there will be snow showers in many places. Precipitation will be more significant in South-Eastern Bulgaria, as rain and snow will fall along the southernmost coast of the sea.

The wind will be weak, in Eastern Bulgaria moderate and strong from the north. The minimum temperatures in most places will be between minus 12° and minus 7°, in some areas of Northern Bulgaria and the high fields of Western Bulgaria up to minus 14-15°, and along the southern coast up to minus 1°. The maximum temperatures will also be within wide limits – the prevailing ones will be between minus 9° and minus 4°, along the southern coast of the sea around zero. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be minus 13°, and the maximum minus 9°. On New Year’s Eve, the weather over most of the country will remain cloudy. Snow will continue to fall in Eastern and especially in Southeastern Bulgaria, while there will be cloud breaks over Western Bulgaria. A moderate and strong northerly wind will continue to blow in Eastern Bulgaria. By midnight, the prevailing temperatures will be between minus 13° and minus 8°, in Sofia minus 13°-minus 14°.

Over the mountains it will be cloudy with light snow showers. The wind will be strong from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature at a height of 1200 meters will be around minus 10°, at 2000 meters around minus 15°. Along the Black Sea it will be windy, cloudy, with snowfall, only on the southernmost coast of the sea of ​​rain and snow. A strong northerly wind will blow.
