In the morning, the university had already announced on X that there were technical problems with the central internet connection. As a preventative measure, the connection to the outside world was completely severed. According to the information, all university members will be informed about the next steps via the internal communication channels and the university’s social media channels.

The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) also has technical problems. “As a digital engineering faculty, we use the University of Potsdam’s network connection and are therefore currently affected by this disruption,” the institute said upon request. The HPI forms the Digital Engineering Faculty with the University of Potsdam.
