King Charles and Kate Middleton have had a difficult year, both struck by illness. A strong decision was taken, to end the year better than it started, as revealed by the Mirror this Thursday, November 28, 2024.
It was a year of successive trials for the English royal family. As a reminder, Kate Middleton and King Charles were both diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of 2024. They were hospitalized almost simultaneously in January: the princess for an abdominal operation and the king for an operation on an enlargement of the prostate.
Post-operative analyzes revealed forms of cancer in each, forcing them to suspend their official commitments to concentrate on their treatment. George’s mother, Charlotte and Louis, were able to complete hers in October, after eight months of chemotherapy, while the king continues to receive weekly treatment.
