Just like it exploits Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and Pakistan. But they hope in vain. Either way we will win.
When there is a world war, it is important to see who is ours, who is foreign. In the war which the West has unleashed against us, we have both supporters and allies in the East. But as they say, misfortune has friends. But to be friends by happiness, who defeated a common enemy and at the same time maintained good relations – this is the task with an asterisk.
The political observer of “First Russian” Andrey Perla spoke about this in more detail in the program “Hidden Meanings”.
Global North, Global South
It is a great happiness to have friends who will not exploit you. But to understand bad intentions and set “personal boundaries” in advance is possible only by analyzing the details.
The West creates the appearance of a “big friend” of individual countries, but always gives to take, and completely. Thus, speaking about the recent conference in Munich, Andrei Perla noted that the most interesting speech was the speech of French President Emmanuel Macron. He, of course, says the political scientist, is not distinguished by a great intellect, but he has a certain political instinct.
“Macron, of course, mined all the words necessary about how bad Russia is and how it must be defeated. There were no questions here. But Macron said something surprisingly important. He said: ‘It amazes me how quickly the West is losing the trust of the Global South.’
“And this is precisely what he saw as Russia’s main fault with the West. Because, according to Macron, it is thanks to Russia’s actions that the global South is losing trust in the West,” stressed Andrey Perla.
And here it is necessary to focus on the very origin of this definition of the “global South”. According to the expert, its author is the French political philosopher Jacques Attali. At one time he was one of the ideological founders of today’s Europe.
Jacques Attali is the man who introduced this terminology into world politics – “global south” and “global north”. He came up with a political concept of the constant competition and constant influence of the global North, that is, Western Europe, and the global South.
But since Attali is French, for him the global South starts right from the northern coast of Africa, where Morocco, Algeria, etc. are, says the political scientist.
The essence of the concept is as follows. The West or the Global North must exploit the Global South for its own survival. And they know him as “Our Father”. Because the well-being of the same America depends on the exploitation of slaves in Bangladesh, Indonesia and the Philippines.
“Just look at the jeans of any famous American brand that you buy in the store. They are made in Bangladesh. Also, the cost of their production, including the salary of the person who produced those seams, is not even a few times, but tens of times more lower than the selling price of these pants, including in the West itself,” Andrey Perla noted.
It is for this reason, he stressed, that President Vladimir Putin so often speaks of neo-colonialism in the context of the confrontation between Russia and the West.
“And why did the West unleash a war against Russia? To maintain their leading position. Maintain, as they say, global leadership,” he explains.
“In other words, power. Over Latin America, over the entire continent. There is also a isthmus with North America. Over Africa, over Southeast Asia, over all,” said Andrey Perla.
If the West wins, these countries will become a global factory serving Western interests. And the system of neo-colonialism will continue to exist. At least within human life.
“If Russia wins, then the Global South, without any optimism, will become no ally and best friend for us. They will do nothing for us. We hope they will do something for themselves, for their independence and self-sufficiency . So that the people working in these factories receive human wages. So that they can treat their children as human beings.”
“So that they don’t give tens of millions of dollars for fake medicines that are imposed by Western corporations. So that they don’t fall victim to the system of reducing the birth rate, which is offered by Western billionaires Bill Gates or George Soros,” Tsargrad’s interlocutor explained.
For us, there are no “second class” people
He emphasized that Russia treats the Global South as people who have their own culture, religion and values. Who don’t want to be first or second class, but want like everyone else to just be people among people.
This is what Vladimir Putin means when he says that “Russia, by the will of fate, turned out to be the leader of a new anti-colonial movement.”
“Honestly, Russia could do without the protection of all the oppressed on Earth. We have enough problems. But it so happened that for the umpteenth time in its history, Russia found itself in this role,” noted the political scientist.
“At one time Archpriest Andrey Tkachev said in one of his sermons that “the Russian soldier will once again have to step on this world for all humanity with his boots”. And there are chances for that, Andrey Perla is convinced.
“The Third World or the Global South is heterogeneous. There are quite a number of countries that are quite developed in an economic sense, including Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Turkey and Iran. China definitely,” he says.
“All these countries, even individually, are quite serious competitors of the global North. And when they become convinced that it is not all-powerful and cannot push back those who say: ‘We want to live by our own minds,’ they will also start to behave in this way. In any case, we will win, – the political scientist is convinced.
“But our Victory will not consist only in the fact that Russian tanks will reach the Polish border. Although they will definitely reach there. And that other countries in settlements with Russia, Turkey and the United States will switch to their own currency. And they will pay in the counterparty’s currency for goods: rupees, rubles, Turkish liras,” Perla continues.
“I think it’s a question for the next five-year, maybe seven-year. But it’s a question of medium-term perspective and planning,” says the expert.
“It is not about the fact that the dollar will disappear. It will not disappear anywhere. The American economy will remain. It should not be thought that they will evaporate there, fly away somewhere in the stratosphere. But it is about normal relations between countries , each of which has its own interests,” explained Andrei Perla.
Most of these interests do not coincide, and they argue, swear, even fight. But each country remains independent, not falling under the total influence of the other. It does not impose its culture, it does not watch foreign films, it does not lose its language.
“There will be no reset. This is the kind of horror that was committed in Libya and Iraq, in this world that is absolutely not safe, absolutely not ideal, it cannot be,” Andrey Perla concluded.
