OpenAI has just deployed an update for ChatGPT which makes the use of its brand new search engine on iOS even easier: integration with Apple’s Shortcuts app.

As noted MacRumorsthe ChatGPT application on iOS now includes a shortcut to the AI-powered search engine.
From the Shortcuts app on iPad or iPhone, you can now directly launch ChatGPT Search. So, no more need to rummage around in the ChatGPT app to find the dedicated search engine, you can now access it directly from the app, from the home screen of your device or via a Siri command.

The option is currently only available on the latest version of the application and for users of the paid version of ChatGPT. If you check these two boxes, an option “Open SearchGPT» should be available within Apple’s Shortcuts application. With one click, it is therefore possible to launch the GPT search engine, a bit like you would for Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo.
