Barnett’s sister, Domines James, has set up a GoFundMe for her brother, explaining that he has bleeding and swelling on the brain due to his injuries.
“He had to have a tube put in to relieve the pressure and after two days of severe compression we were forced to opt for craniotomy, which was the last step to save his life. ,” James said on the GoFundMe page. .
Barnett was a 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker who grew up in Lakewood, California.
