SYNOPSIS OF NEURA
‘nerves’ It is a comedy that addresses the issue of mental health, yes, with lowercase letters. Our protagonists live with their own and other people’s manias. They try to hide some, they proudly display others, sometimes they seek treatment for them, but they always suffer for them.
‘Neura’ is not a romantic comedy: Edu and Sonia already lived their story of love and heartbreak in the past that ended precisely because of those small disorders. They are not friends, they are not lovers. They are that diffuse category we call exes. People about whom we know even their blood type, but with whom we act like perfect strangers.
The chances of life cause them to meet again in different circumstances. Forced once again to test the compatibility of their nerves. However, the evolution of each one separately, during these years, through different therapies and pseudotherapies means that they are reunited with an updated version of the person they knew.
New and surprising situations that will make us travel in a hilarious way through the world of disorders and mental health. A path away from outdated preconceptions, which simply compares the multiple alterations of personality. Hobbies that no one is free from, no matter how much we hide them or they are taboo.
‘Neura’ is a neurotic-festive comedy in which we will all see ourselves reflected.
