Our boss is uneducated but demanding –

/ world today news/ Over 80% of employers have secondary or lower education.

This is indicated by the data from a study by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, presented at a conference in Varna by Assoc. Serafim Petrov, senior expert in the chamber. Petrov pointed out that there are about 300,000 actively operating companies in our country, of which 80% of their owners have low education, which is very worrying. It is worrying because they want to hire highly qualified staff to do low-skilled work for little money, Serafim Petrov pointed out.

Along with this, however, Serafim Petrov pointed out another negative trend – the lack of desire on the part of students to get an education. It is often a phenomenon that they do not attend lectures, do not prepare well for exams and generally lack motivation to educate themselves. At the same time, “as strange as it may seem to you”, many employers agree to take students on internships only if they have paid for it, in a word “business owners want students to pay them for what they will work”. According to the expert, this is one of the reasons why young people have such serious difficulty finding a job after completing their higher education, and in Bulgaria the so-called “requirements for applicants”

Requirements are regularly written in job advertisements that hardly any young person can fulfill 100 percent, Petrov also said. He gave as an example the demands that the candidates have a perfect command of two foreign languages, have extremely high computer skills, a long experience in the specialty, but… their age should not exceed 25-26 years. This, according to him, is one of the reasons why young people are looking for a living and a field of expression abroad, although, according to him, the mass emigration of young specialists to the EU has already passed – due to the fact that the crisis has also reached the West.

However, according to him, the mass emigration of young specialists to the EU has already passed due to the fact that the crisis has also reached the West, which is why finding a job abroad is not an easy task.
