To continue at the forefront and innovation in healthcare practice in the diagnosis and timely treatment for patients in the medical units of Tamaulipas, the Secretary of Health, Vicente Joel Hernández Navarro, presided over the work of the Second Conference of Diagnostic and Treatment Auxiliaries .
Accompanied by the director of the High Specialty Regional Hospital (HRAE), Daniel Durán Perales, the state official, recognized the responsibility they have as health workers to make a correct diagnosis and timely treatment of the patient, which is why he urged them to do awareness about the importance of this medical practice that determines the effective and humanistic care provided every day in the health unit.
He highlighted that, with the evolution of technology, the arrival of artificial intelligence, innovation in imaging techniques, are fundamental pillars that must govern medical practice and enhance the human aspect of medicine that must be characteristic of every server. from any hospital in the state as stated by Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya.
“Tamaulipas has grown together with this hospital and the work of the staff who works in this institution is recognized, where we had to work with a scheme such as telemedicine because they had high-tech equipment and now with social networks and applications, we work with patients to provide them with personalized attention, focused on attending to medical emergencies such as those that pregnant women could present and we can say that we currently have more than 8 thousand pregnant women to be aware of their warning signs to avoid a risk during their pregnancy “, he explained Hernandez Navarro.
He said that, with this tool, the gold codes have decreased, which are pregnant patients who present some complication and who come to intensive care, “we had 32 people a month who came to therapy, in 2023 there were 14 and this year around 12 “Patients presented complications during their pregnancy and were assisted in a timely manner.”
This second day, which for three days will bring together health specialists and students from the medical field, will address the topics of correct diagnosis and timely treatments, along with exchanging experiences and recognizing the importance of auxiliary services as fundamental and important elements. to continue at the forefront and innovation in medical and patient care practice.
