Spotify Wrapped 2024: When is the annual review coming?

WORLD. This year, music fans can once again look forward to the annual review “Spotify wrapped” from the streaming service “Spotify”. The company recently announced that publication was imminent.

As in previous years, the Swedish music company Spotify will publish its popular annual review “Spotify wrapped” this year. This annual review, which is tailored to each user, shows them their most listened to songs, artists, genres, albums as well as other statistics about their listening behavior and is very popular with music fans.

The most streamed podcasts and the total time spent listening to music between January 1st and October 31st, 2024 are also listed and presented in a visually appealing way. Greeting videos or thanks from individual musicians often appear in the retrospectives.

Release is imminent

Every year, fans also ask themselves when the annual review will appear. This is traditionally not published at the end of the year, but before Christmas. In the last two years, 2022 and 2023, the review was published on November 30th – a date that is also considered a very likely publication time this year.

The company itself has already teased an imminent release on its social media channels. “Spotify wrapped is on the way,” wrote Spotify on Wednesday, November 27th, for example, on the company account on the platform “X”, formerly Twitter.

This is how you find the annual review

The review, which has existed since 2016, can be found directly in the app or in the web version. The annual review can always be found directly on the home page with the inscription “Your annual review is here”.

Users then only need to click on the box before the summary plays. Afterwards, the users’ most listened to songs can still be accessed in a separate playlist in the library, and the “wrapped up” can also still be accessed.
