The Council of Ministers announced as public municipal property a section of republic road 1-9 “op. Sunny Beach – Burgas – Marinka” on the territory of the municipality of Burgas. It is 3.9 km long and leads to the urbanized territory and st. “Transportation”.
The change is carried out at the proposal of the Road Infrastructure Agency, since the construction and commissioning of the new bypass changes the functions and character of the old route of the republican road and it no longer meets the requirements.
The newly built section of the Burgas bypass is the main route for the passage of light and heavy vehicles in the direction of Varna – Burgas – Malko Tarnovo and a connection with national road 1-6.
This necessitates a change in the route of road 1-9 in the section from km 230+700 to km 234+600, and the same should pass along the newly constructed bypass road.
The names and lengths of the two road routes are changed.
Thus, after the change, republican road 1-9 “Romanian border – Durankulak – Shabla – o.p. Kavarna – Balchik – Obrochishte – Kranevo – Golden Sands – St. St. Konstantin and Elena – Varna – Staro Oryahovo – Obzor – o.p. Sunny Beach – o.p. Burgas – Marinka – Zvezdets – o.p. Malko Tarnovo
– Turkey border” increases by 2969.57 m. The length of republican road 1-6 “Macedonia border – Garlyano – o.p. Kyustendil – Radomir – Pernik – near Sofia – Dolni Bogrov – Pirdop – Rozino – Karlovo – o.p. Kalofer – op.p. Kazanlak – o.p. Sliven – Lozenets – Karnobat
– o.p. Burgas” is reduced by 2682 m.
With the proposed changes to the ownership of the road section and the list of republican roads, the connectivity of the road arteries on the territory of the municipality of Burgas and the correctness of the data for the republican road network are achieved.
