German Armed Forces Inspector General sees traces of Russia in DHL plane crash in Lithuania / Article

On July 19, two packages were sent from Lithuania to an address in Great Britain via the German logistics company DHL. Breyer confirmed that the incident with the DHL flight “corresponds to what happened with the DHL package this summer.”

Breyer also mentioned the possible role of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the events. According to Breyer, Putin has created a “hybrid state” in Russian-Western relations.

“It’s a situation where it’s not quite peace, but it’s not quite war, and it’s moving back and forth in that gray area. It also means a trying to determine how far you can go,” Breyer said.
