Mendiliber for Steaua: “We will not change our tactics, we hope the game will go well” –

Olympic coach Jose Luis Mendiliber, during the press conference for tomorrow’s match against Steaua, spoke about the approach to the match in terms of the tactical part and also about his team’s opponent.

What Medilibar said in detail:

-On the regular part: “All the games are very important, especially tomorrow’s. If we won it, we would go up in the standings and it would bring us much closer to our goal, which is to qualify for the next stage. It doesn’t mean that because we won the previous two games we gave in the league that we will win tomorrow. They are two different events. Our opponent’s style of play is different. We, however, have our own game in mind. How will we play and implement the ideas we have prepared”.

We must not change our tactics. We played well in the previous two games. The game with Steaua, however, is different. It doesn’t mean that just because we did well in the last two matches, we will do well tomorrow. We don’t need to change anything in our style of play, whichever player is on the pitch. Let’s do the right thing. We hope that things will go well tomorrow.”

-For Steaua: “She is doing very well. They have three wins and one loss in the Europa League. In the league it is more difficult, but it is a very complete team. He knows how to press high, while he can create a lot of danger with long play. It is in a very good location. He will make it very difficult for us in tomorrow’s game.”
