In this respect, the sporting anticipation in the arena was not necessarily at boiling point. However, things got exciting before kick-off when colleagues reported that Lisa Müller was supposed to be present in the stadium.
Because, attention: Thomas’ company car was spotted around the stadium. But since Müller traveled with the team on the bus, it was concluded that his Lisa must have been sitting in the car.

The good Choupo currently has no connection to any team because he has been without a club since the summer. Was that why he first stood so clearly visible in the stands and then strolled through the mixed zone after the final whistle, seeking attention (but always protecting his children from busy reporters)?

Striking: The 35-year-old sought a conversation with Eberl. Maybe the Bayern boss has one of the many exciting projects in European football on offer for his ex-kicker?
Or maybe Choupo was just there to get the blessing of the Bavarian father. Because of course, when FC Bayern plays against PSG, Markus Söder cannot be missing in the Allianz Arena. Because the last time the game was great (in the summer of 2020), the Bavarian Prime Minister’s popularity ratings were also in positive territory for the last time.
