József Szájer disappeared four years ago because he was tired of the struggle
The new book of “Józsi” was presented on Tuesday. The volume was praised by Gábor G. Fodor, who directly compared the father of the Basic Law to Ferenc Puskás. But the participants of the round table discussion – including the prime minister’s wife – did not hold back when they praised Szájer’s fantastic intellectual abilities.
In the House of Terror, József Szájer’s book “On the Frontline” was presented, which completely rehabilitated the great poet, who was forced to leave public life in 2020 in a well-known way. There was not much talk about this inglorious departure at the event on Tuesday evening (in fact, according to Szájer’s own admission, he only withdrew because of fatigue), but it is more about the fact that it really was time to return, since Szájer is practically a genius. In addition, he is an extremely modest genius, who does not do or say anything that would be unacceptable (unlike some, of course) not only in public life, but also in private life:
- Anikó Lévai: Believe it or not, we used to talk to each other like this even on weekdays, in 40 years there was not a single unacceptable sentence or behavior between us.
- József Szájer: I could say that we were proud with humility.
