“Mon Vieux”, a testimony on Alzheimer’s disease broadcast at the Quintin cinema

The screening of the film by Élie Semoun and Marjory Déjardin, “Mon Vieux”, brought together one hundred spectators this Monday, November 25 at the Le Rochonen cinema in Quintin. Programmed by the Agirc-Arrco pension fund in partnership with the Intercommunal Social Action Center (CIAS) and the CCAS of Quintin, this documentary on Alzheimer’s disease evokes the lives of patients and their loved ones.

The screening was followed by a debate during which Stéphanie Boquého, health executive at the Penthièvre and Poudouvre Hospital Center (Ch2P), Véronique Mastin, director of the Plaine-Haute day center, Anne-Marie Le Fur, facilitator of the Adapted Living Unit at the Quintin nursing home, Jean-Paul Hérisson, from France Alzheimer 22 and Jeanne Le Parc, psychologist at the CIAS, answered questions from the participants.

The speakers were also able to present the structures and associations that families can contact for support and not to remain isolated.
