The spaces of Villa Fiorentino, a splendid residence overlooking Corso Italia in Sorrento, will host the fifteenth edition of DiversabilArte, an artistic exhibition that focuses on diversity. The theme of this year’s event is “rehabilitation”.
The initiative is carried out by Vincenzo Greco and Paolo Massa, with the support of the Municipality of Sorrento, the Sorrento Foundation and the special consortium company for personal services “Penisola Sorrentina” and the support of numerous associations present in the area.
The inauguration is scheduled for next Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11 am. After the presentation of the exhibition by the organizers, greetings will be expected from the mayor of Sorrento, Massimo Coppola, from the CEO of the Sorrento Foundation, Mario Gargiulo, from the director of the Asps “Sorrento Peninsula”, Andrea Di Fiore and of the Guarantor of the rights of people with disabilities of the Municipality of Sorrento, Antonio Gargiulo.
Following the speech by the theologian Aniello Clemente on “Spirituality and rehabilitation”. It will then be the turn of the speakers. The neurophysiopathologist Antonio Parisi will illustrate the aspects of the “Habilitation treatment in neurodevelopmental disorders”, while Elisabetta Roberta Rubertelli will address the aspect of rehabilitation that goes “Beyond words”.
Obviously there will be the possibility to visit the exhibition which will be open until 20 January 2025 every day from 10am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm with free entry. Furthermore, a meeting with the artists who exhibit their works at Villa Fiorentino is scheduled for Saturday 14 December, at 4 pm.
