In the midst of litigation surrounding their wine estate, Château Miraval, Brad Pitt was ordered by a judge to provide documents and communications related to accusations of domestic violence made by Angelina Jolie. According to the actress’ lawyer, Paul Murphy, this evidence could prove that Pitt tried to cover up “abuse, lies to authorities and years of cover-up.”
“She never filed a complaint, she left all their assets and she was the one who tried to sell him the business in the first place. To this day, Mr. Pitt has never been held accountable for his actions and has always controlled Miraval and the winery, but he always demands more. “She wants this to end, the children want it to end, and Mr. Pitt should be focused on healing their family, not on legal action,” he continued, adding that his client was ready to defend their rights if necessary.
