AS “Grenardi Group“, a retailer of watches and jewelry, has acquired SIA “Julars”, the manager of the “Goldlight” brand, representatives of “Grenardi Group” inform.

After the acquisition, the company “Julars” changed its name to SIA “Goldlight”.

At the moment, the representatives of “Grenardi Group” do not disclose the amount of the transaction, saying that it will be available after the end of the takeover process of the company and the completion of the contract, which is expected to be completed before the end of time. this year.

The purpose of the transaction is to strengthen the competitiveness of “Grenardi Group” in the Latvian market, while improving the pricing policy and offering a wider range of jewelry to customers, the company’s representatives say.

“Grenardi Group” is the main company of “Given” and “Grenardi” stores. Until now, “Grenardi Group” managed 81 stores in the Baltic States, of which 74 belong to the “Given” store chain and seven to the “Grenardi” store chain. After buying “Goldlight”, the group will manage 91 sales points and six online stores in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, the company says.

“Grenardi Group” also intends to increase the cost of capital and shares by three million euros, reaching a total capital and share price of 10,898,43 euros.

The turnover of the “Grenardi Group” concern in 2023 was 18.011 million euros, but the losses were 248,720 euros.

“Grenardi Group” was registered in 2020, and the share capital is 7,200,001 euros. The largest owners of the company are SIA “AS Capital” (45%), belonging to Ainārs Spriņgis, as well as Linda Kesenfelde’s SIA “Curiosity Capital” (19.25%). “Grenardi Group” bonds are included in the list of debt securities on “Nasdaq Riga” stock exchange.
