Lucé. 70 musicians for the fall concert. Full house, Sunday, at the Edmond-Desouches cultural center in Lucé for an exceptional concert by the Lucé harmony orchestras and their guest: the Brou harmony orchestra.
Around thirty musicians played under the direction of Aline and Steve Boisserie, band directors of Brou.
The first part was devoted to film music, from Walt Disney, The Lion King, Aladdin, Vaïna, Encanto…. Well-known pieces as these melodies have become part of everyday life. The Lucé harmony orchestra, around forty musicians, performed the second part under the direction of Olivier Gallou, with a more eclectic repertoire, varying from classical (waltz no. 2 by Dimitri Shostakovich) to jazz (tribute to Ray Charles) passing through Arizona, Overture on an Indian Folk Melody (Franco Cesarini) in order to escape into the immense desert plains with a Native American on horseback…
The public applauded for a long time the two groups brought together on stage, almost 70 musicians, to perform Pirates of the Caribbean (Klaus Badelt).
