Pep Guardiola’s frustration appears shortly after the final whistle against Feyenoord (3-3). The Manchester City coach was not very interested in the post-match interview with Noa Vahle and came up with a rather bitter response to the performance of the opponent from Rotterdam.
Manchester City thought they had won the Champions League game after taking a 3-0 lead, but Feyenoord made a sensational comeback.
Vahle opens up afterwards by asking what Guardiola said to his players in the dressing room. “Nothing,” is the short answer.

Vahle notices that Guardiola is humble and celebrates this. “No, this is football,” replied the Catalan. “We played a good game. It was fine, it was good to get to 3-0. But after a mistake we let them come back.” Guardiola is referring to an incorrect back pass from Josko Gvardiol, which led to Anis Hadj Moussa’s 3-1.
“We are vulnerable right now,” Guardola said. “Then they scored two goals in two minutes. With all the chances we had today we couldn’t finish. We gave away 3-1 because of a mistake. After that we were not stable , for various reasons. They punished us.”
Vahle asks if Guardiola has a recommendation for Feyenoord. The manager pauses and answers with a shrug: “I don’t know. We’ll give up the goals ourselves, so…”
“They score three times, so you have to give them credit for that. But I analyze my own team. My colleague (Brian Priske, ed.) can talk about his team ,” Guardiola concluded.
