The topic of fan shop buybacks at Dynamo Dresden has been really hot for weeks. Now the Ultras are even giving the club an ultimatum…
The demand: By the start of the second half of the season, the third division team should announce that it will take over the second 50 percent of the outsourced Merchandising GmbH on July 1, 2026 – the earliest possible date.
This requires termination of the fan shop contract with the previous co-operator, egocentric GmbH, by June 30, 2025.

If this is not submitted by January 19th, the Ultras will call an extraordinary general meeting (AOMV) in March. The necessary signatures from 400 members are already being collected.

At the meeting the bosses should be forced to buy back the entire property.
The Ultras put the gun to Dynamo’s chest! Also because the active fan scene revealed explosive connections for the first time in their own stadium magazine “Zentralorgan”.
Shortly before the association acquired a 50 percent stake, egocentric GmbH is said to have concluded a consulting and supplier agreement with its own company network (duration until 2031 and 2032, respectively).
Explosive! Because this was how they secured their own business area without Dynamo’s consent.
The Ultras’ accusation: “Over several years, millions of sums have been withdrawn from the joint fan shop GmbH bypassing the SGD.”
An example calculation: The consulting contract provides for a ten percent participation. With a forecast turnover of 7.5 million euros in the current season, that amounts to 750,000 euros.
However: The current management of the traditional club could neither have prevented the dubious contracts, nor was they already in office at the time.
Equity soon gone?
She initially wants to invest 1.5 million euros in stadium catering, which Dynamo also promises new millions over the years, and in the professional team. The overall budget is exceeded by around 1.5 million euros to give a better chance of promotion.
The fan shop buyback would cost another 1.5 to 1.8 million euros and would pose a greater economic risk due to numerous restructuring measures.
This means: Dynamo’s equity capital, which according to calculations is only 8.9 to 9.9 million euros at the end of the season, would be eaten up in no time!
When asked by BILD how the club reacted to the Ultras’ ultimatum, they explained Dynamo Dresden: “The management will examine possible decisions and investment opportunities in the coming weeks. The focus here is always on economic efficiency in the interests of the club. The management is in close contact with its contractual partners and the club’s committees.”
