TGB: we know who set fire to the Quai de l’Adour for the TGB-BLMA duel

The Staps students “lit the fire” on Saturday evening at the sports center during the duel between the TGB and the BLMA.

If the TGB failed to win during its duel against Lattes Montpellier, it was not for lack of support.

“We played in an incredible atmosphere,” noted afterwards the Swiss leader of the TGB, Nancy Fora, who regretted not having been able to reward the public at the Quai de l’Adour with a victory.

Who set the mood?

It’s true that if usually the sports hall vibrates with the exploits of François Gomez’s players accompanied by loud applause and the sound of a band, on Saturday evening it was a downright delirious but always good-natured atmosphere which accompanied both teams.

A fervor assured by the representatives of the Staps student associations (sciences and techniques of physical and sporting activities) of France who were in Tarbes for a studious and undoubtedly very festive weekend.

Bass drum, megaphone, siren; nothing was forgotten in the kit of the perfect supporter of all these student athletes who were able to try their hand at shooting from the center of the floor during half-time.

Jérôme Tapie, the speaker of the Quai de L’Adour, did not have to exert his talent to wake up the bays and, extremely rare, visibly seduced by this atmosphere, he offered a double chance to hit the basket to the students…

In vain, the precision was not there during this evening in Tarbes.

**Considering the impact of the ⁣student support on both the players’ performance and ⁤the overall game atmosphere, what long-term strategies⁣ could the TGB implement to foster a consistently strong and enthusiastic fan‌ base?**
