Artist and producer ZICO celebrated the 10th anniversary of his solo debut with a grand finale.

Zico met the audience through ‘ZICO LIVE: JOIN THE PARADE’ held at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul for two days on the 23rd and 24th (Korean time). In his solo concert held six years after ‘King of the Zungle’ in 2018, he proved himself as an irreplaceable ‘performing powerhouse’ and completely quenched the thirst of fans and the public.

Zico announced the start of the parade with ‘Prod. ZICO (Feat. Homies)’. During ‘Freak’ and ‘SEOUL DRIFT’, a performance reminiscent of a car parade was presented from the center of the concert hall to the protruding stage, and the audience responded with loud cheers and singing along. The combination of Zico’s explosive energy and the band’s live performance created an unprecedented synergy.

Zico said, “This is a solo concert held for the first time in 6 years and it is an event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his solo debut, so it is even more meaningful and precious. We will show 10 years of music to you like a parade. Let the audience march to their heart’s content. “Please be my wing. I will make this place the hottest district in Seoul today,” he said with confidence.

Zico eloquently elicited a positive response from the audience and communicated intimately by telling the story behind the song. After showing off his lyrical charm with his first concert performances such as ‘That’s Not Him’ and ‘Feat. BIBI’, he caught everyone’s attention by singing and playing the keyboard himself in ‘About Being Left Behind (Feat. Down)’. Then, cheers erupted from the stage where overwhelming rapping stood out, such as ‘No you can’t’, ‘Play’, and ‘Say Yes Or No (Feat. PENOMECO, The Quiett)’. As the parade of hit songs such as ‘Artist’ and ‘Any Song’ continued, a true scene unfolded where everyone danced and sang along without worrying about who was first.

During the encore performance, the audience requested songs and sang them on the spot. Zico interacted with fans in real time, going back and forth between previously released mixtapes, b-side songs, and featured songs. In addition, Crush and DO appeared as guests on both days, and on the last day, ‘SPOT! (feat. JENNIE)’ On stage, Jennie made a surprise appearance and started providing support.

Zico said, “I think this is why we hold concerts. Thank you to everyone who came. I will never forget this scene today. My parade has been going on for 10 years and will continue in the future.” Lastly, he introduced his solo debut single ‘Tough Cookie (Feat. Don Mills)’, saying, “My 10 years started with this song,” and ended the performance by pouring all his remaining energy into this song.
