The State Police of Parma, as part of the activities aimed at combating the phenomenon of conduct that can disturb public order and safety, has issued a Ban on Access to Sports Events (DAspo.) against a twenty-six year old originally from the province of Udine.
Specifically, on 16 September 2024, at the “Ennio Tardini” sports facility in Parma, the football match between the “Parma 1913” and “Udinese” teams took place, valid for the Serie A championship. During the match, two smoke bombs were lit on the steps hosting the Udinese fans.
Therefore Digos personnel, following a careful info-investigative activity which was inspired by the analysis of the images extrapolated from the video surveillance system inside the stadium, arrived at the identification of the person responsible for the ignition. The DAspo provision was adopted against the young man, who had already previously been reported to the Judicial Authority and convicted for the crime of persecutory acts. At the conclusion of the investigation carried out by the Anti-Crime Division, the DAspo provision was adopted. for a period of three years, as well as the ban on approaching within a radius of 500 meters from the place where the sporting events take place in the city of Udine and 500 meters from the places intended for the parking of the vehicles of the fans heading to the sporting events.
