The Pumas CU shook off the dominance of the Borregos Campus Estado de México and beat them 15-13 in the quarterfinal match of the ONEFA Big 14 Conference.
In a match that was decided in the last minute of the match, the Auriazules achieved their first victory against those from Lagos de Guadalupe at the Olympic University stadium and the third in eleven duels.
The first half of the confrontation was dominated by the Mexicans who went to halftime with a 10-0 lead after a touchdown by Kareem Ochoa and Yael García’s field goal.

In the match, played at noon, the quarterbacks of Pumas and Borregos, Leonardo Garza and Kareem Ochoa, respectively, were injured.
