“On the other hand, we are known thanks to the audience, but we are also obliged to educate this audience in morals and in some norms, and we have a responsibility towards them. That’s why it’s so hard for famous people to bear the burden of their ill-considered actions. I won’t judge Dimo, but I don’t think it’s normal to sit down drunk behind the wheel. But I don’t consider this public scandal that the media created to be normal either. Thank God there were no injuries, so whatever guilt he has, let him bear it and it will surely be a ring in his ear. I say again that Dimo is a good boy, he is not a random person, and this will in no way allow something like this to happen to him again.”
When asked if the act will affect Dimo’s career, Mutafchiev commented: “A lot depends on how he will act, whether he will apologize to society and how he will do it, whether he will realize himself to the extent that this will change. There have been cases where it affects someone’s career, there have been cases where it doesn’t. “We’ve seen a lot of cases like this where public figures get behind the wheel and get pulled over by law enforcement, and I think that’s right, of course. Because, God forbid, if he had hit and injured someone or there had been a more serious accident with a person, it would have completely crushed him,” the actor concluded.
