BSP set a condition for ABV – to leave the ruling coalition –

/ world today news/ BSP will accept the hand extended by President Georgi Parvanov if ABV leaves the quadruple coalition. This was decided by the BSP Executive Bureau at a meeting today, the party press center announced.

We do not refuse support, we do not reject an extended hand, said the leader of the capital organization Kaloyan Pargov. “Of course, we do not unite around personalities, but around policies, because the BSP is firmly positioned in the left sector of the political space. The BSP is a socially oriented and nationally responsible party, and in this regard, to every single political force, in particular to ABV, we have several conditions for a partnership to happen: First, the withdrawal of the ABV from the four-party coalition, which in practice means the withdrawal of the ABV representatives from the various executive powers positions. And a clear designation of ABV in the left-wing spectrum. Under these conditions, we can start building a future partnership, as Georgi Parvanov announced.

In Sofia, the left views coalition politics as far superior to the current BSP Left Bulgaria form. “We will look for a partnership beyond this coalition format, as it is in the direction of the non-governmental sector, civil organizations and, of course, political formations, if there are prerequisites for this,” commented Pargov.
