A series of accidents occurred in Ngaliyan Village, Ngaliyan District, Semarang City. The accident happened because the brakes on the tronton truck failed.
In the video that is circulating on social media, one of them is on the account @tachartasanmgthe accident involved a tow truck, a motorcycle and a car. One driver was seen lying unconscious and bleeding.
“Lur accident, place in front of Martabak Badut Ngaliyan. The information was that the brakes on the truck failed. The victims included several vehicles and buildings“, wrote the account @tachartasanmg as shown detikJatengThursday (21/11/2024).

The tronton truck also appears to have hit a building on the side of the road. Residents also appeared to be gathering at the scene of the accident.
When asked for confirmation, Ngaliyan Police Chief Commissioner Indra Romantika confirmed that there had been a series of accidents. He said police officers were dispatched to evacuate them.
“We are still processing the TKP (crime scene),” Indra said when contacted detikJatengThursday (21/11/2024).
He also confirmed that the series of accidents was caused by a truck whose brakes failed.
“That’s right (because the brakes on the tronton truck failed). The place is on Jalan Prof Hamka, before the Permata Medika Hospital (which came from Silayur),” he explained.
