See what the new Soarin’ finale sequence looks like at EPCOT
Soarin’ Around the World was launched at the park EPCOT in 2016, and since then has offered an overview of the former Future Worldwith the Fountain of Nations, Innoventions and Spaceship Earthto conclude the attraction. Since work to redevelop the park’s façade began in 2019, this scene has quickly become obsolete.
Disney eventually rectified the problem by adding a newly shot final sequence flying over the area of World Celebration reimagined.
One aspect of the attraction that has received a lot of criticism is the distortion of the Eiffel Tower when you sit at the edge of the room. Disney also worked to resolve this issue by introducing an updated sequence. You now approach the Eiffel Tower from further away, like with the Tokyo Tower in the Japanese version of the attraction. Tokyo DisneySeamaking the tower less likely to appear distorted.
It is currently unknown whether the version of Disney California Adventure has been or will be updated with the “fixed” sequence of the Eiffel Tower.

Max: Thank you for having me! The process of creating the new Soarin’ finale scene involved a combination of aerial photography and drone footage to capture the stunning beauty of the reimagined World Celebration area. Our challenge was to make sure that the final scene felt seamless and integrated well with the rest of the attraction while still showcasing the incredible details of the park’s transformation. We wanted to give guests a taste of what they can experience on the ground when they walk through the area, but in a way that felt true to the Soarin’ style.
