A lot is a bit too much. But because of covid everything is gone. Now I am sitting and thinking that this covid only came to kill me,” says Baiju.

Baiju: Thank you for having me. I play a crucial role in Empuran, just like in Lucifer. My character is one of the most important elements of the story. The film is Prithviraj’s directorial debut, and it’s a sequel to Lucifer, Mohanlal’s comeback movie after the flop Odiyan. As you mentioned, it received immense success at the box office and critical acclaim. The shooting of Empuran took place in various countries. It’s an exciting project that takes us into the world of underworld heroes.
Interviewer: Can you talk about the challenges and opportunities that come with playing a role in a highly anticipated sequel like Empuran?
Baiju: The pressure is high, of course, when you’re a part of a sequel to a successful film like Lucifer. But I believe it’s more exciting than challenging. The expectations are already high, and we must deliver a performance that lives up to them. It was an incredible opportunity for me to work with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal again. They are brilliant artists and inspiring people to work with. Moreover, the scale of the project was immense, with shooting taking place in different countries. That, in itself, was an amazing experience.
Interviewer: You mentioned that you have several other films lined up after Empuran. Can you give us a sneak peek into what you’re working on next?
Baiju: As an actor, I’m fortunate to have such diverse projects in my pipeline. Apart from Empuran, I have a few more exciting films in different genres like action, thriller, and comedy. But due to the pandemic, they got delayed. However, I’m optimistic that things will pick up soon, and we’ll be able to make great cinema for our audiences.
