Dragon Age™: The Veilguard
Issue with the Xbox One controller.
I have an issue with the Xbox One controller. I tested my controller and it’s fine but for some reason I can’t use the right side of my D-pad when playing. This is kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because that means I can’t use potions. Also for some reason my character can’t be healed by his party members anymore. The healing animation works it just doesn’t increase my characters health in any way

S concerning to hear. What steps do you think the developers should take to address this issue in Dragon Age: The Veilguard?
Thank you for reaching out to us at world-today-news.com. We are excited to provide you with an exclusive interview about Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Can you please introduce your guests to our readers?
Guest 1: Hi, I’m Steve, a gamer and a tech enthusiast who has been playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard on Xbox One. I’ve been experiencing some issues with the controller that I’ve been unable to resolve.
Guest 2: Hi, I’m Sarah, a gaming journalist and an avid fan of the Dragon Age franchise. I’ve been following the issue reported by Steve and have been researching similar complaints made by other players.
world-today-news: Thank you both for joining us today. We appreciate your time. Let’s start with the issue at hand – Steve, can you please describe the problem you are facing with your Xbox One controller?
Guest 1: Sure, I’ve noticed that I can’t use the right side of my D-pad when playing the game. This is quite a problem as it’s the part of the controller I use for potions, and it’s frustrating not being able to access those items during combat or other critical moments in the game. Additionally, my character doesn’t seem to be healing anymore even though the healing animation is working properly. It’s like the game isn’t registering the healing actions.
world-today-news: That sounds quite troubling. Steve, have you tried resetting your controller or updating your console software?
Guest 1: Yes, I’ve tried both of those things. I also tested my controller on other games and it works fine. However, it only seems to have this issue with Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
world-today-news: How long have you been experiencing this issue, Sarah? Have you heard of other players facing a similar problem?
Guest 2: From what I’ve gathered, this issue has been reported by several players, not just Steve. It seems to be a widespread problem that started a few days after the game’s release. Some have also reported that the problem persists even after updating their controllers or consoles.
