The GT line from realme has always provided several features that distinguished devices on the market from similar models. One of the company’s main bets was cost technology; realme can be safely called a pioneer in this aspect. Recorded low cost periods for several models are considered unbelievable. For example, one of the predecessors of the realme GT7 Pro could be charged in ten minutes without cheating. In the new flagship, the company has gathered the best developments both from the market and from its own R&D, and the result is a model that is of great interest. In my first comments, I will try to detail the technology, marketing and positioning of this model so that we can evaluate the main products of the company. Design, dimensions and weight

I love bold color schemes, and the Martian Sand color is just that, with a bright orange body that immediately catches the eye. I have a more relaxed solution called galaxy grey.

Phone dimensions are 162.4×76.8×8.5 mm, weight is 222 grams. At first glance, the body is cut, but the curves of the display panel and glass back make it comfortable in the hand. In the kit there is a black silicone case, in which the edges are not felt at all.

Those who don’t like bevels on display will more than likely be satisfied here. The bevel is small and runs along the frame of the screen, which creates an interesting visual effect, but the screen itself does not flow on these bees. The active area is written in a smooth rectangle, so there is no need to get used to the display from the first moment you start working with it in a familiar way.

It’s not the lightest device on the planet, but that is until you find out that it has a 6500 mAh battery. About the time of operation – a little later, for now I will note, in terms of the completeness of features, that the model is limited by them to the eyes, and this explains both the size and weight. But these parameters should definitely not be considered as a disadvantage, in addition to or without standard values ​​for main products with such a screen corridor.

A special feature of the realme GT 7 Pro screen is that it does not have a polarizing coating, which makes it thinner. This type of screen is usually used in foldable smartphones. It implements a complete spread of technologies. Screen size – 6.78 inches, resolution – FullHD + (1264 × 2780 pixels). Brightness with manual adjustment is 1000 nits, with automatic adjustment and in the sun – up to 2000 nits, which guarantees that it will be easy to read in any situation.

The screen is easy to read on the street, there are no flaws here. But pay attention to the options.

The color gamut of P3 is 120%, the color of the screen is excellent, this model is attractive. The show turned out well from any point of view, it looks good. Bright, different, with rich colors and color choice gives you. One of the main achievements can be noted DC Dimming (the same PWM resistance), which works the same at all brightness values, there is no difference. The beauty of this solution is that you get the same uniform color characteristics regardless of the brightness level set, and you are less tired from the strain on your eyes and brain (yes, that’s right, eyes and brain).

Cool, fast and amazing processor

I’ll start with a simple statement: realme GT 7 Pro is the first smartphone in Russia powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This processor is designed for flagship products and has a 3 nm process technology; there is nothing better on the market. The performance of this processor will last for at least five to six years, or even more. From the processor’s point of view, the safety margin of the machine can be considered the highest.

For fans of virtual parrots, I note that the processor gets the most points in synthetic tests, for example, in Antutu. More than three million points, this number looks interesting.

I have said many times and I still say that it is impossible to consider the processor alone from other parts. You can install the most powerful processor, but if your device has a throttle, all the benefits will be eliminated. realme uses new steel cooling systems for several devices (Iceberg VC, area 11480 sq.mm).

What does this cooling mean? Equally comfortable operation in different modes, whether it is heavy games or normal office applications, the device does not heat up under load, the maximum temperature under the heaviest loads is around 38 degrees. Heat dissipation is excellent, which increases the operating time.

Battery and operating time – new records

You probably know what SiC batteries are; they have several important parameters. Exactly the same operational characteristics, read – discharge at sub-zero temperatures. They are more compact than standard Li-Ion batteries. With the smaller size of the battery it was possible to increase its capacity to 6500 mAh. And this is very, very good.

Let me start with a simple statement: it is impossible to drain the battery of the realme GT 7 Pro in one day. Even if you start playing with heavy toys in the morning, the device will last you at least ten hours. You’ll get tired of sitting with your phone non-stop sooner than it runs out of charge.

The device includes a 120W fast charge and charges the battery to 100 percent in 37 minutes. But if you do not have time, for example, in the morning you are running somewhere on the head, even five minutes is enough to give you several hours of work, for example, after that you can talk on the phone. for seven hours. For a completely discharged battery, charging is very fast (we will talk about this in more detail in the review, but here everything is very, very good).

Another parameter that pleases me personally: battery consumption after four years of use does not exceed 20% of the specified capacity. And with its size, you get a durable device in every way, the kind you buy for many years. Lyrical movement – for the review, you have to run a bunch of tests on this device, and, given the battery life, it is not so easy to do this; Battery life without any limitations is one of the strengths of this smartphone.

Cameras

In the main camera unit there are three models from Sony, each of which can be called one of the best in this class. The main model is IMX906, telephoto is LYT-600, wide angle is IMX355.

The cameras must be discussed in detail in the review, but just look at some of the pictures, I think they speak for themselves.

And for the first time, the device also features an underwater shooting mode (thanks to IP69 level protection). That is, this is the first smartphone officially designed for such filming, and the manufacturer has added a special mode, as well as several AI features that improve the picture or is able to “capture” movement in the frame.

A little about other features

realme has updated realme UI to the sixth version, many different features have appeared, including interesting AI solutions. Nice easy interface, convenient functions.

The device supports WiFi7, which will be a great advantage for the owners of the relevant routers, and for some this is also a function of growth;

The ultrasonic fingerprint scanner has become faster and clearer, even wet fingers are not a problem. A small thing, but very pleasant.
