Criticizing that it does not fit the new era because of wood; Supriya chechi said I got that role: Vincy Aloysius
Jana Gana Mana was a 2022 movie directed by Dijo Jose Antony. This film, which entered the legal thriller genre, featured Prithviraj Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramood, Mamta Mohandas and Pashupati.
And the actress Vincey Aloysius also appeared in a leading role. Vincy says that she should have missed the role in Jana Gana Mana and it was because of Supriya Menon that she got the role.
The actress says that she always heard criticism that she was not suitable for the new era because of how fat she was, and she thought about changing that habit. Amidst that, Jana Gana called her to Mana, Vinci said.
‘I used to always hear criticism that I was not suitable for the new age because of how fat I was. I thought a lot why that would be. So I thought about changing that habit. Among these I am called to Jana Gana Mana.
They said they would look at the forest and send a picture. But just then Supriya chechi comes as my angel. My sister said, ‘This boy is good at acting.’ With that, I got a role in that film,’ says Vinci.
The actress said that it was during the Kanakam Kamini controversy that her fear of the camera got over and she had an intimate scene with Kunchacko Boban in the film Bheemante Naya. Vinci said that even though he was his mentor, he managed to shoot these scenes coolly.
“I was able to be a part of projects like Bheeman’s Way, Kanakam Kamini Kalaham and web series Karik. But it was through Kanakam Kamini conflict that my fear of the camera changed.
Similarly, I had an intimate scene with Kunhacko Boban in the film Bheemante Vya. Chakochan was also my mentor. But I managed to shoot those scenes coolly,’ said Vinci.
