‘All for childhood’, a song that promotes the rights and well-being of boys and girls in Ecuador
Drafting. Quito
Within the framework of the commemoration of the 35 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Children’s First initiative, the singer Karla Kanora and UNICEF have presented a song “All for childhood” that seeks to mobilize all adults to achieve that all boys and girls grow up healthy, without violence and have all the opportunities to develop their maximum potential.
The choir makes an invitation that “we can all do something and we are going to do it,” with the aim that children are the priority in every action, no matter how small, such as, for example, preparing a healthy lunch box, leaving the cell phone and pay attention to them, educate them without hitting or insults, read a story with them, among other things we can do every day to fulfill the rights of children.
“We live in a world with many challenges and the most affected are children. But we have time to make a difference. This is the moment for each of us, as individuals, families and society to commit to putting childhood at the center of all our actions,” said the renowned Ecuadorian singer.
The new song “All for childhood” was created by the Esmeralda artist for UNICEF’s Children’s First initiative, which seeks to unite all social actors to put children first. This musical theme is now available on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube y Spotify.
Karla Kanora has been a UNICEF National Ambassador since 2012. During this time she has become an active spokesperson for the rights of children and adolescents in the country. It has also demonstrated its commitment to children by supporting UNICEF initiatives that promote education, health, breastfeeding and the prevention of child sexual abuse.
