Last month, Inhaler released their new single “Your House,” which guitarist Eli Hewson said ZikNation is “about chasing away some kind of destructive force in your own life, essentially by just wanting something that’s not good for you.”

“We’ve never released a song that sounds like this,” added drummer Ryan McMahon. “Both sonically and musically, it covers a lot of different territory that we were exploring on the album as we wrote and recorded it. »

Their next album ‘Open Wide’ should be released next February, via Polydor. Inhaler’s last release was their sophomore LP, 2023’s “Cuts & Bruises.”

In a four-star review of the album, ZikNation shared, “‘Cuts & Bruises’ leaves room for Inhaler to grow and continue to develop a more distinctive sound of its own. Although they lack the Fender-style spunk in their story, they’re just as zealous and charming – quickly carving out their own place in the scene.
