The Lanxess Arena is getting ready – with big names for the concert year 2025!
On Monday (November 18th, 2024) the next date was announced: Almost exactly a year from now, on November 22nd, 2025, Jamiroquai will be guests at the hall in Cologne-Deutz and will play one of only two Germany concerts during the event their “The Heels of Steel Tour”. The tour is the band’s first in six years.

“Jamiroquai don’t actually need an introduction,” says the organizer about the upcoming tour. But: The idea still reads impressively. The band has been shaping the British acid jazz scene for over 30 years and is one of the world’s best-known funk bands. A Grammy, 15 Brit Awards nominations, two Guinness World Records and over 26 million albums sold speak for themselves!
The band was founded at the end of the 80s, the third album “Traveling Without Moving” produced the major chart successes “Virtual Insanity” and “Cosmic Girl” in the fall of 1996, with which Jamiroquai established itself on the US market.

The face of the band is singer Jason “Jay” Kay (54), who is also the band’s founder. The group’s name is made up of the words “Jam” for the style of music and “Iroquois” for the Iroquois tribe, with whose philosophy Kay identifies. In 2002, “Jay” is said to have had a brief flirtation with Heidi Klum. The two were never officially a couple.
Fans of the band can look forward to the performance in Cologne, especially live, Jamiroquai represent a great spectacle and full commitment.
