According to content company Library Company on the 19th, the play ‘Red Fallen Leaves’ will be performed at the Daloreum Theater of the National Theater in Jung-gu, Seoul from January 8 to March 1 next year.

‘Red Fallen Leaves’ is based on the novel of the same name by Thomas H. Cook, the master of American mystery novels, who is greatly loved by fans at home and abroad. In particular, Kim Kang-woo plans to return to the stage eight years after the play ‘Hamlet the Play’ and show off his wide acting spectrum.

Lee Yu-jin, Jang Seok-hwan, and Choi Jeong-woo were cast in the role of Jimmy Moore, a boy who shatters the peace in an instant.

‘Vanessa Moore’, the mother of ‘Jimmy’, is played by Kim Won-jung, and ‘Warren Moore’, the older brother of ‘Eric’ who is constantly viewed with suspicion, is played by Tae-geon Kwon. In addition, Seon Jong-nam, Ha Ji-eun, and Koo Do-gyun also appear.

The creative team is also noteworthy. Director Lee Jun-woo and writer Kim Do-young, who have worked together for a long time in plays such as ‘Kristallnacht’ and ‘6 Years of Fusun’, have teamed up. The two were selected as Best 7 Performances of Korean Theater Monthly in 2020 and Best 3 Performances of Korean Theater Critics Association in 2020, including Best Play and Best Picture at the 57th Dong-A Theater Awards for their play ‘The Story of Wangseo Gae’.
