What are the major changes that you are observing in the world of work? We are experiencing a moment of great misalignment between the constraints and rewards of work. We were used to employment with constraints – strong divisions of tasks, subordination, time and place constraints – but in exchange we had counterparts which made these constraints acceptable (increasing salaries, paid leave, social protection and especially access to housing). Today, it is massively misaligned with on the one hand the appearance of new jobs which have somewhat eased constraints such as hybrid work, flexible jobs, microenterprises, teleworking.
How has the misalignment between work constraints and rewards impacted employee satisfaction, as discussed by Lætitia Vitaud?
