“We were just talking, later of course all 7 will be handed over to Danantara. More introductions. There are no specifics, just a preliminary communication and we agreed to continue the this process as soon as possible and hopefully “With this introduction it will be more effective as well,” Muliaman said after meeting the Managing Director of Telkom, Tuesday (19/11/2024).
Meanwhile, Danantara Deputy Chief, Kaharuddin Djenod Daeng, also said that the agenda of the meeting was only an introduction. Danantara also investigated Telkom’s potential.
Telkom and BRI are said to have given positive responses to the meeting. Meanwhile, after meeting Sunarso, Kaharuddin also said that their meeting was only to introduce him.
“Therefore, this is a meeting for real input, while Danantara prepares formalities. Then we also want to know more about the BUMNs that will join Danantara. And I think that the BUMNs that join need information about Danantara as well. Kaharuddin said.
Regarding the asset management scheme for the 7 BUMNs, Muliaman and Kaharuddin did not explain much. According to him, this issue has not been discussed yet.
When confirming whether the Indonesian Investment Authority (INA) would be under Danantara, Mualiman said this has not yet been decided. According to him, his party wants to first ensure that the transition from managing BUMN assets to Danantara runs smoothly.
“Not yet, later, we will be one by one first. And how will this seventh transition run smoothly? (The transition) with procedures that are in accordance with statutory regulations,” he said.
“Later there will be changes in the rules that we propose, so that this movement can proceed according to strong legal support,” he concluded.
