Your tasks:
- If Press spokesperson You will pay attention to equal communication between the CEO dual leadership and be responsible for the storytelling and positioning of Messe München, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as the CEO speakers
- You act on behalf of Messe München and the management in all journalistic and media-relevant areas, focusing on cross-company topics as well as crisis communication and are in close contact with the management
- You develop holistic marketing and communication strategies for the company and the Messe Munich brand. You ensure the implementation and quality by your team and the control of external service providers. This includes both internal and external communication across all channels
- You are responsible for active media and public relations work and the development and maintenance of all media relations, such as journalists, multipliers and opinion leaders at local and national levels
- You are in charge of brand management and positioning of the umbrella brand across all channels and means of communication at Messe München

This is what you should ideally bring with you:
- You must have successfully completed a university degree in communications, journalism, political science, media management or an equivalent qualification
- You have years of experience in press and media work, as well as strong expertise in storytelling, including in the area of social media. You also have excellent writing skills and a sound understanding of the requirements for communication in the digital age
- You have at least ten years of professional experience as a PR/communications specialist in an international environment and can demonstrate several years of management expertise. The development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies is in your blood
- You have excellent contacts in the (German and especially Bavarian and Munich) media landscape and at the same time have the ability to form and expand networks. Experience in the event or trade fair industry is a huge advantage
- You have in-depth knowledge of media usage and have already gained experience with the use of AI tools in the editorial environment
- You are characterized by strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, social skills and an authentic personality
