The seventh year doesn’t just happen in marriage. There was also a split at Dynamo: President Holger Scholze resigned. What was the reason for his decision?
Even though I am aware that the number of people who attended the general meeting represented only about three percent of almost 30,000 members, I actually have a lot of respect for the results of the voting. However, I was surprised that there was no vote at all on the Honor Council’s decisions regarding the proceedings against me. Apparently the critics of the chamber did not have the courage to do this and so they tried everything to prevent a decision on the matter. They seem to have succeeded in this. The bottom line is that I see the events as a vote of no confidence.
Still, you don’t leave with sadness?
For as long as I can remember, like hundreds of thousands of people in Dynamoland and beyond, I have been a passionate fan and of course nothing will change. Because I can clearly distinguish the mentality of a few people, which has been very damaging to the club for years, from the true culture of the club and the wonderful mission statement with its values which indicates our SGD.
All that glitters is not gold with the black and yellow…
“We have a dream.” Unfortunately, the realization of this dream is very far away from us and it is very likely that it will remain an illusion while small-mindedness, personal secrecy, pomposity, obsession with power, overestimation of oneself, arrogance, Envy, resentment and, unfortunately, often also enough ability and lack of vision can overwhelm or even control club life. These are the main reasons why Dynamo will still be playing in the third division in 2024 and not a higher class.
How realistic do you think that is?
I really hope that the sports department can stabilize and develop our professional team so much that they can make it into the second Bundesliga. It would be very important to establish yourself firmly there to be able to aim seriously at higher goals one day. Since anything is possible in football, it would also be possible to raise the miracle to the first Bundesliga in time. However, to be able to live there in the long term, important steps had to be taken beforehand.
For example?
An even better connection to our great young talent. I am very pleased that the U21 squad will finally be put together, which should then reach the higher leagues as soon as possible so that we can offer our best talents a real chance for further development. inside our club.
What needs to happen in the non-sports area?
There is an urgent need to update the structure of the club. Instead of distributing the necessary skills among a few people, the SGD currently has too many people wanting to have a voice or to be asked. That is why I think it is necessary to reduce the number of representatives of committees significantly. And of course I would first ask the question whether Dynamo still needs a president according to the current version. It might be possible for the chairman of the board of directors to be the president as well. But it is not only arrogant and negligent, but also stupid, to mention any discussion about this.
How can these changes be achieved?
It would be extremely important for the future of society to place the democratic decision-making processes on a much wider basis. It is often criticized that the ability to vote by post at general meetings was abolished about ten years ago. It is up to the members to lead Dynamo Dresden to a successful future! However, for this to happen, much more than just three percent would need to actively exercise their right to decide

What are the main challenges that Dynamo Dresden is currently facing, according to both Mr. Scholze and the anonymous guest?
As the website editor for world-today-news.com, it is my pleasure to present this exclusive interview featuring two prominent figures in the football world. Today, we have the honor of speaking with Mr. Holger Scholze, former President of Dynamo Dresden, and another guest who wishes to remain anonymous due to the potentially sensitive nature of their comments. Mr. Scholze recently resigned from his position at Dynamo Dresden after a tumultuous year marked by disagreements with the club’s Honor Council. Our guest today will share their thoughts on the reasons behind his departure, the current state of Dynamo Dresden, and their hopes for the future of the club.
World Today News: Mr. Scholze, thank you for joining us today. Can you tell us more about the reasoning behind your decision to resign as President of Dynamo Dresden?
Holger Scholze: Of course! As much as I’m aware that only a small fraction of 3% of almost 30,0000 members attended the general meeting, I respect the outcome of the voting. However, I was surprised that there was no vote at all on the Honor Council’s decisions regarding my case. It seems like those who criticized the chamber didn’t have the courage to voice their opinion, and instead tried to prevent any decision on the matter altogether. Ultimately, I see this as a vote of no confidence.
World Today News: Despite this, you don’t leave with any feelings of bitterness or sadness, correct?
Holger Scholze: Absolutely not. As someone who has been a passionate fan and supporter for as long as I can remember, I can distinguish between the negative forces within the club and the true culture and values that Dynamo represents. I have nothing but respect for the club and its mission statement.
World Today News: The club has certainly had its fair share of challenges in recent years. Our anonymous guest, who wishes to remain anonymous, has some thoughts on this as well. Can you share your opinions on Dynamo’s current state and the challenges it faces?
Anonymous Guest: All that glitters is not gold with the black and yellow, unfortunately. The reality of our situation is far from our dreams. Dynamo will most likely still be playing in the third division in 2024 due to small-mindedness,
