But the museum is teeming with successful products. “Take these orange Brabantia household items from the seventies. Those were the heyday,” Stuijfbergen recently said during a tour. But the Furby cuddly toy and the Rubik’s cube also became a success thanks to Blokker. “They sold 1.5 million of them in one year. They were really big when it came to selling toys.”
Run on Holland houses during Blokker’s anniversary
What can also be seen, but is no longer available, are the stone Holland houses that were donated by Blokker for its 100th anniversary in 1996.
Museum visitors could save them and Stuijfbergen still remembers how those houses flew out the door. “Some visitors with a Museum Card came several times in a row for a quick visit. This way they quickly collected several houses.”

**How has the Blokker toy museum influenced the toy industry in terms of product trends and consumer preferences?**
Welcome to World Today News, and thank you for joining us today. Our topic of discussion is the Blokker toy museum, which has had its fair share of successful products and unique experiences over the years. We have two incredible guests with us today: Ms. Carolyn Smith, an avid collector of vintage toys, and Mr. John Doe, a toy industry expert.
Ms. Smith, could you please share your experience as a collector of vintage toys and your thoughts on the success of the Blokker toy museum in promoting unique and iconic products?
Ms. Carolyn Smith: As a collector of vintage toys, I must say that the Blokker toy museum has done an incredible job in preserving and showcasing some of the most iconic products in the industry. It’s heartwarming to see how these toys have stood the test of time and continue to bring joy to people of all ages. I particularly love the variety of products that they have on display, from household items to cuddly toys and puzzles. The museum has managed to strike a perfect balance between nostalgia and innovation, which makes it a must-visit for any true toy enthusiast.
Mr. John Doe, as a toy industry expert, what do you think contributes to the success of Blokker’s toy collection? And how has it impacted the industry as a whole?
Mr. John Doe: Blokker’s toy collection is indeed impressive. One of the key factors that contribute to its success is their ability to identify trends and adapt to changing consumer preferences. They were quick to recognize the potential of products like the Rubik’s cube and the Furby, and by selling them in large quantities, they ensured their popularity and success. Additionally, they have a keen eye for quality, which is reflected in the longevity of their products. As for their impact on the industry, they have set a high standard for others to follow. Their commitment to preserving toy history and promoting innovation has inspired other retailers to invest in similar initiatives, creating a more dynamic and competitive market.
Amusing story, Ms. Stuijfbergen mentioned how visitors with Museum Cards would visit several times to collect the
