What inspired Dora and Weam’s recent social media posts, and how do they think it affects their fan engagement?
Marwan Al-Tayeb: Good evening, and welcome to our interview. Today, we are thrilled to have two guests with us, Dora and Weam Magdy, both artists who have had exciting moments shared on their social media in the past 24 hours. Thank you both for joining us tonight.
Dora, it’s always a pleasure to have you with us. Can you tell us more about your recent photoshoot? How does it feel to share these special moments with your fans?
Dora: Thank you, Marwan. The photoshoot was really exciting. I wanted to capture the serenity and beauty of a simple white dress, and I’m glad my fans could appreciate the aesthetic. It feels amazing to be able to share these moments with them because it’s an extension of the connection we have through our work.
Marwan Al-Tayeb: Weam, you’ve also caught the eye of your followers with your recent Instagram posts. Can you tell us more about your experience at the Cairo International Film Festival and how it feels to have your fans’ support?
Weam Magdy: Of course, Marwan! Attending the Cairo International Film Festival was an honor. It’s always exciting to see your work showcased on such a large scale and to receive such positive feedback from the audience. And knowing that my fans are there to support me throughout it all makes it even more special.
Marwan Al-Tayeb: Wonderful. Nancy Ajram also had a successful concert in Paris, which she shared on her Instagram. What’s your opinion on the role of social media in artists’ careers today?
Nancy Ajram: Social media has become an essential tool for artists today. It allows us to connect with our fans on a more personal level and share our experiences in real-time. It’s a platform for us to showcase our work, share behind-the-scenes content, and interact with our audience. The positive feedback we receive helps motivate us and keeps us going.
Marwan Al-Tayeb: Dolly Shaheen and Ragheb Alama both posted selfies – a trend that has been quite popular recently. Do you think selfies can be considered a form of artistry?
