NEW YORK – Three people were stabbed, two of them fatally, early Monday morning in separate but reported attacks, law enforcement sources familiar with the developing situation told NBC New York.
Two men and a woman were the victims of the stabbing. The two men died, while the woman is in critical condition, according to sources.
The first stabbing was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. on West 19th Street. The victim of this attack was a 30-year-old man who was stabbed in the stomach. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The second stabbing was on 30th Street next to the Water Club. The victim of this attack was a 67-year-old man who also died.
The third victim is a woman who was stabbed near 42nd Street and First Avenue. The woman, whose age is unknown at this time, is in critical condition.
A subject was arrested at 46th Street and First Avenue in connection with this series of stabbings.
