Was this loan intended to close a liquidity gap at SC DHfK Handball Verwaltungs GmbH? Can SC DHfK Handball Verwaltungs GmbH meet the agreed repayment date? Were the income from TV marketing assigned to the lender as security? Why was the loan agreement concluded under these conditions with the lender and not with a credit institution?
Managing director Günther answers: “The information you describe, regardless of whether it is accurate or not, is subject to all consequences of the law for the protection of trade secrets and therefore to secrecy.
Publicly relevant economic processes of the SC DHfK Handball administration can be viewed transparently in our balance sheet.
In anticipation of the publication of the balance sheet as of June 30, 2024, I can inform you of the following:
SC DHfK Handball Verwaltungs GmbH reports other liabilities of €400,000 to third parties with a term of 1 to 5 years. These were duly reported to Handball-Bundesliga GmbH.
These liabilities in the form of a loan serve to compensate for defaults and late payments of sponsorship funds and thus to secure liquidity.
We are very grateful that numerous partners are actively supporting us and have adjusted our budget accordingly from the current season in order to reduce these liabilities as planned.”
